Be sure the image fits in the preview window. If need be, cancel the Print dialog box and resize or rotate the image.

Be sure printer selection is ok.

Be sure print size is right.

Be sure Crop to fit is not checked.

Be sure Center Image is checked.

Be sure“Scale to fit Media is not checked.

Be sure the Output options for file name, etc. are not checked unless you want them, and that you have room on the paper.

Under Color Management, be sure of the following:

Be sure Color Handling is set to“Photoshop Elements Manages Color

The source space says Adobe RGB (1998). If not, get out of the Print dialog and use Image->Convert Color Profile to fix it.

Be sure the Printer Profile is set to the color profile for your printer/paper combination. (Epson printer software comes with profiles for Epson papers. Others require downloading from the paper manufacturer’s website. Do not download them from paper retailers, as these are sometimes sub-par.

Be sure Rendering Intent is set to either Perceptual or Relative Colorimetric. You will need to test your printer both ways on sample prints with lots of varying shadows and highlights to determine which works best for you.

As long as these settings do not change, and you do not change Page setup, Print setup, or take Elements down and back up, you will not need to reset these for each print.

Now hit the Printer Preferences button to enter the Print driver setup.
